Cloud nine for Da Twinz

UK based singers Da Twinz, (Denis Mugagga and Crazy Dee), are the latest hoist Uganda’s flag high in the movie industry. They have also signed onto a major music label. The duo is behind the sound track of a BBC film productions movie, Moses Jones, which tells a story of the plight African immigrants in the UK. The sound track music  a fusion of afro funk and high energy percussion with a strong African beat,  sets the mood of the movie in which Hollywood actor Eamon Walker stars and was written by   acclaimed film writer Joe Pehall. Interestingly, Da Twinz also appear as part of a 12-piece African band in many of the music scenes. Ugandans can only watch Moses Jones in April, when it airs on Kamwokya based Record TV. For one in charge for scoring the movie, Craig Pruess, (Also Cliff Richard’s official producer) was so impressed by their output; he has signed them on to his Heaven on Earth records.  They have already outed a ‘Ddebessa’; the first ever Ugandan video shot in high definition format. It plays on MTV. Way to go guys! You can watch this video on www.twinzentertainment.com
