“First appearances suggest a witchcraft killing. But the dark reality is more complicated – and even more frightening.  Assigned to the case is young, hopeful DS Dan Twentyman (Matt Smith) and his senior partner DI Moses Jones (Shaun Parkes), seconded from Scotland Yard due to cultural links with the local community.  But, confronted by a wall of silence, Jones and Twentyman become increasingly confused as they grapple with the various complexities.  All roads lead to the Afrigo Club, where kingpin band leader Solomon (Eamonn Walker) plays with his band.”

Working with Ugandan top professional musicians like Sam Kimuli and George William Kiberu,  Da Twinz wrote and produced with Craig Pruess; the film composer of the songs for the band and also the music for the soundtracks. While balancing an existing career to the already established DaTwinz of Uganda they managed to cultivate a sound that appeals to a new crowd. Their high energy and atmospheric music became entwined with film, and the new unique sound was formed.

The music is essentially a fusion of afro funk and high energy percussion with a strong African beat. The lyrics tell of real experiences that the Ugandan community can identify with and the London community can culturally understand. The appeal of this is echoed through Moses Jones as the questions and issues raised in the film are reflected in the music.

The message that is portrayed is one which asserts the integrity of the vocalizing of extraordinary stories seen through the eyes of the people surviving in London.
DA TWINZ USE THEIR MUSIC AS AN INSTRUMENT TO EXPRESS THE TURMOIL    IN COMMUNITY LIFE RELEASING THE VIBES TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO KEEP ROOTED IN THEIR CULTURAL IDENTITIES IN AN EVER CHANGING WORLD THAT  CREATES CULTURAL BIASES.
Throughout any of their songs there is a powerful humble optimistic joyful beat and that encourages anyone to celebrate music and world music beats.
